DOG OF THE WEEK! Schaefer is a sweet, 1-year-old purebred German Shepard. He is large, 120 pounds, and still growing. He is a gentle giant but will need an experienced owner and lots of land to run! He is great with dogs of all sizes and would need a home with no small children due to his size.

We are always searching for more volunteers in our cat centers! Our cats are located in PetSmart stores in Lakewood, Federal Way, Puyallup, and Tacoma.

Our History
Horn Creek Rescue was taken over by Diana VanDusen in 2020 and since then its mission has been to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome as many animals as God will allow. We thank our community, our adopters, and those who donate; without you, we would not be able to continue placing animals in their new loving homes.
